We are on the lookout for a Venture Builder to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is for those who can see beyond the horizon and can navigate the complexities of innovation in a corporate setting while keeping the agility and mindset of a startup. You will be responsible for building ventures from vision to viable, market-ready solutions.

The Opportunity

As a Venture Builder, you will be an integral part of the oneUp team and will work directly with clients from industries such as food, fashion, and finance on topics like GenAI, Web3, Circularity, Culture, Membership and Loyalty, and others.

This role is a unique blend of strategic leadership and practical execution, perfect for someone who enjoys navigating the complexities of venture creation and likes to get their hands dirty.

Your Role

• Contribute to and lead the execution of corporate innovation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Identify complex issues, develop robust hypotheses, and devise strategic solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative business models, products, and strategies.
• Conduct and oversee comprehensive desk research, synthesizing information to support strategic decisions.
• Perform in-depth customer, user, and expert research through various methodologies, translating data into strategic insights.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, effectively communicating research findings, project progress, and strategic recommendations.
• Establish and maintain strong communication channels with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to provide forward-thinking insights and recommendations.
• Lead the development and testing of prototypes, gathering feedback and iterating to achieve optimal solutions.
• Facilitate and contribute to ideation sessions, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
• Ensure meticulous project documentation, maintaining organization and accessibility of all project-related materials.

What We Look For

• ✅ Relevant experience: between 5-7 years in a relevant role. You worked as a Venture Builder, Product Development, Innovation Consultant, or Strategic Designer.
• 💻Know-how of designing, validating, and developing new products, services, or business models with a customer-centric approach.
• 🚀Proven expertise in lean startup and design-thinking, with a track record of developing solutions with tangible impact and strategic fit.
• 👀You are used to taking the lead on projects and making sure the team "wows" the client.
• 📌Extensive stakeholder management, project management, and presentation skills.
• 🏢Experience working with big corporates is a plus.
• 🇳🇱You are eligible to work in the Netherlands and you speak Dutch at a professional level.

• Salary: The range is €5.000 - €7.000 per month + holiday allowance depending on your level of experience. You can grow significantly within oneUp's career framework, we have a clear salary model.
